Slimline World Wildlife Calendar Overview

Animals and birds from many continents are insightfully photographed in their natural habitat in pairs, family groups or alone, for everyone to enjoy in the World Wildlife Slimline calendar, a practical space-saving solution.

One amazing photo shows an Asian elephant in India. In the wild, Asian elephants feed most of the day on grasses, bark and roots and enjoy showering with water using their trunks. They live in forested areas in small, isolated populations. Elephant herds follow migration routes in the monsoon season, led by the most senior female. The Asian elephant has smaller, more rounded ears than the African. In another incredible photo we see an orca, in Patagonia, Argentina. Recognisable by their black and white patterned body and huge dorsal fins, orcas, also called killer whales, are the biggest member of the dolphin family and fearsome ocean predators, feeding on fish, sharks and marine mammals such as seals. They are known for their breaching displays and their ability to work together in groups to hunt prey.
