Slimline World Wildlife Compact Calendar Overview

Wildlife from all the corners of the globe is expertly photographed in the World Wildlife slimline compact calendar. Each vibrant photo provides an insight into the character of wild creatures and is sure to appeal.

We see an American Bison on one page. This large, bulky member of the cattle family with humped shoulders and a dark, shaggy winter coat is the biggest mammal in North America and is often known as the American Buffalo. Once prevalent in the vast Great Plains grassland, they are now rare, and are found mainly in reserves. Another image shows a lion in Kenya. In the pride the females do most of the hunting, mainly by night, while a few males patrol their domain. Lionesses have 1 to 6 cubs in a litter and keep their cubs hidden until they are eight weeks old, when they join the pride. Mothers of similarly aged cubs form a ‘crèche’ and remain together for 1-2 years. The compact slimline postage saver design also makes the calendar economical to post.
