Nant Gwynant Valley, Snowdonia is the image for September – a beautiful steep valley below Snowdon’s southern slopes. The A498 makes a dramatic descent into the valley following the Afon Glaslyn. The river passes through two magnificent lakes Llyn Gwynant and Llyn Dinas before tumbling through the scenic village of Beddgelert. Abercastle is featured on June’s page, a small peaceful village near Fishguard in Pembrokeshire, known for its scenic harbour, rocky coast and historic connections to the sea, along with an inset photo of Pentre Ifan, a neolithic burial chamber set in an atmospheric location.
