All the striking images capture the beauty and diversity of Wales throughout the changing seasons with inset photos of wildlife that can be spotted near the locations of the photos, accompanied by background notes.

April’s page has a stunning view of the beautiful Barafundle Bay on the Pembrokeshire coast, a small bay, backed by dunes and pine trees, with swathes of golden sand and crystal-clear waters. An inset photo shows a grey seal. They congregate in large breeding colonies along rocky coasts and secluded beaches. In October there’s an autumn vista of Sychnant Pass, Conwy, its steep slopes clad in heather. The pass is a deep cleft between Alltwen to the north and Maen Esgob to the south. The stonechat is found in bushes and thickets here - a small, robin-like bird, whose call sounds like stones being tapped together.
