Rural Britain Task Station Desk Calendar Overview

The Rural Britain Task Station calendar focuses on the beauty of our rural British landscape and the rarely-glimpsed wildlife which inhabits it. Each month features a landscape vista along with an image of an animal or bird which lives in that locality.

In one fabulous photo we see the unspoilt ancient heathland and beach at Dunwich Heath, Suffolk. This rare surviving area of coastal lowland heath is a remnant of the Sandling Heaths, once widespread in Suffolk. In late summer purple heather covers the heath above the sandy cliffs and shingle beach below. This rare and precious habitat, owned by the National Trust, is adjacent to RSPB Minsmere reserve, popular for birdwatching. In the sandy ground, rabbits live in large groups, burrowing underground to form complex warrens. Speed and agility are their key to survival against predators.

This practical and sturdy desk calendar comprises a heavy glossy easel with a useful planner pad for notes and appointments which runs along the base stand of the easel.
