The Greater Kudo, native to South Africa is pictured in one photo. These large antelopes inhabit dense brush or forest, browsing on leaves and shoots and moving around in search of water. They have stripes and spots on the body, a chevron of white hair between the eyes and a fringe under the chin. Males have spectacular long, spiral horns up to 1.8 metres long while females are much smaller than the males. Shown in another image, the Golden pheasant has a golden crest and rump and bright red body with an orange ruff on the back that is spread in display. It is mainly found in forests in mountainous areas of western China.
