Depicted on one page, Reinigeadal is a small settlement on the east coast of the Isle of Harris near Tarbert, at the western side of the entrance to Loch Seaforth. Behind it rises the 528m peak of grey rock known as Todun. In earlier times Reinigeadal was inaccessible except by boat or on foot along a rugged overland path crossing a mountain pass before winding its way along the steep coastline. Finally, in 1989, a narrow mountainous and twisting single-track road was built.
