Colin Prior Note Station Desk Calendar Overview

Celebrated Scottish landscape photographer Colin Prior’s extraordinary work is showcased in the Colin Prior Elementals Note Station desk calendar. Revealing some of the truly remote places in Scotland, this stunning desk calendar features twelve magnetic images which embody Scotland’s beautiful untamed landscape together with the photographer’s personal background notes. Exploring his relationship with the elements, his superb photography has a strong conservation message.

September’s page shows the Paps of Jura, Loch Indaal, Isle of Islay - an unusually red sunrise, caused by dust in the atmosphere originating in the Sahara Desert, lifted in the Sahara by strong winds up to very high altitudes and then carried hundreds of miles to us on a mild southerly airflow. The fine particles of sand get caught in rain droplets in clouds and fall to the ground when it rains, leaving a thin layer of dust. With a hardback case bound white gloss easel and 12 leaves plus cover and the addition of notepads and coloured highlighter pads on the easel this calendar is a very useful addition to any desk.
