Colin Prior Note Station Desk Calendar Overview

Prolific and acclaimed Scottish landscape photographer Colin Prior’s latest collection is featured in the Colin Prior Elementals Note Station calendar. Taking you to some of the most remote parts of Scotland, this extraordinary desk calendar presents twelve compelling images which embody Scotland’s beautiful remote landscape, accompanied by Colin’s personal notes, exploring his relationships between primeval elements in the landscape. With a hardback case bound white gloss easel and 12 leaves plus cover and the addition of notepads and coloured highlighter pads on the easel this calendar is a very useful addition to any desk.

River North Esk, cascading through Glen Esk, Angus is shown in September. Close to Gannochy Bridge, the North Esk cuts its way through a deep sandstone gorge known as ‘The Loups’ - so named, as the salmon are required to loup before continuing their passage upstream. The North Esk is formed in the southern Grampians and flows for a distance of about thirty-five miles to enter the North Sea, three miles north of Montrose.
