Colin Prior Elementals Desk Calendar Overview

The Colin Prior Elementals corporate desk calendar features distinguished Scottish landscape photographer Colin Prior's outstanding work. In a career spanning more than forty years his exploration of different photographic formats highlights the relationship between the primal elements of the landscape. Colin is a photographer who seeks out patterns in the landscape and the hidden links between reality and the imagination. He has produced nine books which were published internationally. This unique promotional desk calendar for 2027 will appeal to the landscape connoisseur and it also has a strong conservation message. All the stunning wide format images are accompanied by the photographer’s personal background notes.

Dùn Beag is shown in the magnificent image for May. Whether crossing Sanday, travelling the coast road to Tarbert, climbing up to Compass Hill or standing above the northern cliffs, a striking feature is the abrupt, vertical, columnar basalt cliffs that occur throughout the landscape. The landscape abounds with wildlife and the biggest sea stack of Dùn Mòr is home to a puffin colony for three months of the year.
