Scenic Tour of Scotland Calendar Overview

The Scenic Tour of Scotland calendar reveals the natural beauty of the wonderfully diverse Scottish landscape, captured in outstanding photography. With high gloss finish on every picture the colours and textures of each fabulous location are enhanced. Two sections of map and descriptive captions provide detail to discover more about each scenic destination.

One image shows Stonehaven Harbour in Aberdeenshire. This former fishing port with a tranquil harbour encircled by attractive houses is a popular east coast resort. The wide curving shingle beach is backed by cliffs. Near the harbour stands the 16th century tollbooth, the town's oldest building, now an intriguing museum. A snowy view of the remote and very picturesque Blackrock Cottage, Glencoe, Highland is the subject of another image. It is located at the foot of Meall a' Bhuiridh at the entrance to Glen Coe near the White Corries Ski Lift. Behind it is the huge pyramid-shaped bulk of Buachaille Etive Mor, or the Great Shepherd of Etive, one of Scotland's most recognisable mountains, guarding the entrance to Glen Coe.
