The Scammel Artic is pictured in one painting. In a Thameside dockland scene a local policeman guides a Scammell articulated lorry. An onlooker watches as it creeps across cobbles and tramlines. Pickfords have for many years specialised in the haulage of heavy machinery. Another painting shows a Foden 8-Wheeler run by Brian Peerso of Leeds, Yorkshire, at Kilnsey Crag, Wharfedale, North Yorkshire. The lorry is still running today.
