Rural Britain Premium Lined Easel Desk Calendar Overview

The Rural Britain Premium Lined Desk Easel calendar highlights the link between the natural beauty of Britain’s rural landscapes and the mammals, fish, birds and insects which inhabit each place, which are often hidden from view. The handmade and heavyweight easel gives an impression of luxury to this calendar with its gloss laminated board and it is available in blue, black or white.

Rough Tor, an ancient moorland summit on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall is portrayed in September’s magnificent image. Commanding splendid views over the surrounding landscape, Rough Tor is crowned by a logan (or rocking) stone perched on a pile of round stones on the summit and is strewn with granite boulders. There are signs of a Neolithic tor enclosure, Bronze Age hut circles and a 14th century chapel. It is matched with a photo of an adder, the UK’s only venomous snake, fairly small, with a zig-zag pattern down its back. It prefers moorland, heathland and wooded habitats and is sometimes spotted basking on a log or under a warm rock.
