Bumper Collection for Festive Food Bank Parcels
Last week our generous staff made donations to a national food bank project organised by Family Business United. The boxes and hampers which were collected were delivered into the regional hub event, and we are pleased to report the items have already been distributed to the charities receiving them.
Festive Food Parcels Campaign Launches
Rose Calendars in association with Family Business United have joined an initiative to show we care, working with organisations across the UK to redistribute food to communities to help feed some of the most deserving and vulnerable people across the UK. The Festive Food Parcels campaign will help those who need it most, throughout December.
Staff with 187 Years’ Service Accept Corporate Sponsor Certificate for St Helena Hospice
Long-serving staff gathered today to accept the annual certificate from St Helena Hospice, marking another year in our proud association with the charity. Corporate Fundraiser James Martin-Whymark presented the partnership certificate for the Corporate Membership Scheme to a group of staff who between them have served a combined total of over 187 years!
Florence Rose Runs Half Marathon in Memory of Grandpa, Chris Rose
Florence Rose has just completed a half marathon in memory of her Grandpa Chris Rose. Raising funds for Freda Gunton Lodge care home, part of the not-for-profit Balkerne Gardens Trust (BGT), where Chris spent his final months, Florence was proud to share her story with us.
The Great Rose Bake Off in Aid of St Helena Hospice
Last week saw talented bakers from Rose Calendars come together in a Bake Off competition to find the star baker. Sponsored by Marriages Flour, keen cooks displayed their favourite cakes and bakes, before the results were sold to staff to enjoy. Find out who the winner was and what their star bake was…..
